WHATPlease note: this is a media event only, not a food distribution.

Feeding Northeast Florida announces the launch of its second Corner Market mobile panty, in partnership with the City of Jacksonville. This event will serve as a media introduction to a new program created by Feeding Northeast Florida which provides food resources and nutrition guidance to those facing food insecurity at a neighborhood level in the Northwest Quadrant of the city.

With this client-choice pantry on wheels, Feeding Northeast Florida will be able to track individual progress over time with the prescriptive nutrition model, providing a comprehensive analysis of the program’s impact.

The market was funded through a grant of $200,000 from the City of Jacksonville’s Food Desert funding within the City’s Northwest Economic Development Fund. Additional funding was provided by Florida Blue, United Healthcare, Robert and Margaret Hill, The Michael Ward and Jennifer Glock Foundation, and The Jaguars Foundation.
