Livingston Joins CareerSource Northeast Florida as Executive Vice President

Rebecca Livingston has joined CareerSource Northeast Florida (CSNEFL) as Executive Vice President. Livingston has more than 17 years of experience in workforce development and federal contracting.


“We are very pleased to have someone of Rebecca’s caliber join our organization and look forward to seeing her experience put to work for businesses and jobseekers throughout Northeast Florida,” said CSNEFL President and CEO Bruce Ferguson.


Livingston most recently served as the Director of Federal Workforce Solutions for Maher & Maher – a national workforce consulting firm providing change management, workforce and talent development, and leading-edge training solutions. In this position, Livingston grew a successful federal consulting practice and provided strategic direction of national projects focused on transforming workforce and education systems.


“Northeast Florida is recognized nationally for leadership in innovative approaches to support our workforce… the people part of economic development,” said Elaine Johnson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Principal of Corporate Development and Strategic Investments at Florida Blue and the Board Chair for CSNEFL. “Rebecca understands workforce development on a national scale and is uniquely qualified to continue advancing our region. We are so excited to have her.”


Prior to joining Maher & Maher, Livingston worked directly with the workforce development system as an employee of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration. During her tenure, she played key roles on several projects focused on meeting the workforce needs of high-growth industries, such as the Advanced Manufacturing High Growth Job Training Initiative and the National Business Learning Project, using a peer-to-peer learning approach among workforce areas to become regional catalysts for economic development.


“I’m very proud to join the team at CareerSource Northeast Florida and look forward to assisting in the creation and further expansion of workforce development programs for employers and job seekers,” Livingston said.

Livingston received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and a Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law.  She currently resides in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
