Kristy Meeler leading JAX Chamber Councils in 2020

Published Tuesday, February 18, 2020

Avondale Wealth Advisors Managing Principal Kristy Meeler, Ph.D., is JAX Chamber Councils President for 2020.

In her role, Meeler serves on the JAX Chamber Board of Directors, representing the 10 Chamber Councils on the board. Meeler is a past president of the Downtown Council and served in that role in both 2018 and 2019.

“I moved to Jacksonville 10 years ago with no personal or business connections. I quickly discovered the Chamber and realized the Councils were a major connector and driver of business –– not only for larger companies but for small to midsize companies as well,” Meeler said. “I’ve made many friendships and business relationships through the Chamber that have forever changed the growth trajectory of Avondale Wealth Advisors.”

JAX Chamber has 10 councils, six of which are based on geography – Arlington, Downtown, Mandarin, North, South and West. The Chamber also offers a Professional Women’s Council, Health Council, Information Technology Council and Transportation and Logistics Council.

An LPL Financial Advisor, Meeler has 20 years experience in the financial planning and wealth  management industry. Meeler has both a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in economics from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business.
