Jax Federal Credit Union Appoints Bridgett Loafman as Chief Human Resource Officer

Published Wednesday, February 12, 2020

Jax Federal Credit Union has appointed Bridgett Loafman to the position of Chief Human Resource Officer.

In her new role, Loafman oversees all human resources policies and operations for the credit union and its 135 employees, who serve more than 37,500 members across Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Baker and Nassau Counties.

Loafman brings more than 30 years of human resources and management experience to the role. Previously, she held HR leadership positions with Community Hospice & Palliative Care, Coastline Federal Credit Union and Payment Systems for Credit Unions (PSCU). She is actively involved with several professional and philanthropic organizations, including the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and the American Cancer Society.

“Bridgett has proven herself as an HR leader whose programs consistently attract, retain and empower top talent. Most importantly, she understands how to create an exceptional employee experience — which is critical to delivering the best member experience,” said Joe Nowland, President and CEO of Jax Federal Credit Union. “We are delighted to welcome her to our executive team, and know she will have an immediate and lasting impact.”
