LifeSouth Partners with Team Liquid to Host “Heal for Real” Blood Drive at WasabiCon®

Two-day blood drive will help “level-up” blood supply at local hospitals

Published Friday, October 18, 2019

While characters in video games can heal quickly from virtual damage, someone in the real world needs blood every two seconds.

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers has partnered with Team Liquid, a world-renowned professional gaming organization, to host a “Heal for Real” blood drive at WasabiCon®. This blood drive will empower WasabiCon® attendees to help Northeast Florida hospitals “level-up” their blood supply. One donation can save up to three lives in our local community.

Donors will receive a limited-edition Team Liquid T-shirt.

The blood drive hours are as follows:
Saturday, October 19: 12 - 8 p.m.

Sunday, October 20: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

(Please note: blood drive hours are shorter than WasabiCon®’s hours:
