Harden Expands South Florida Office, Adding Corey Mershon

Harden, one of the Southeast’s leading insurance, risk management and employee benefits firms, continues to expand in the South Florida market with the strategic addition of Corey Mershon as Employee Benefits Account Director. Already serving many clients in South Florida, nationally, and internationally, expanding the Fort Lauderdale office will allow Harden to provide more localized service and better connect to the South Florida community.


Corey Mershon brings more than 25 years’ experience in insurance and financial services. Previously, he was the president of CMC where he specialized in insurance and financial products. Additionally, Corey connected charitable organizations with businesses for fundraising endeavors. Prior to that, Corey was a new business manager with Cigna Healthcare where he developed and implemented sales strategies for targeted Regional Customer Segment accounts. Corey is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors upon receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He holds a Life (216), a Life & Health (218) and a Health (240) license and has also earned the CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care) designation. An active member of the community, Corey is the President of the Broward Association of Health Underwriters.
