About: The Fire Watch

The Fire Watch is Northeast Florida’s fight to end veteran suicide. It is a coordinated effort between the City of Jacksonville and the counties of Baker, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns to swiftly activate local assets, stand watch, and build a life-saving network to combat veteran suicide locally. The City of Jacksonville will serve as the legal home of The Fire Watch and coordinate with the surrounding counties via inter-local agreements. Through a series of partnerships and collaborations between local, state, and federal agencies, private donors, media entities, and regional and national non-profits, The Fire Watch will coordinate an effort to organize existing resources to combat the veteran suicide epidemic locally.
