Downtown Vision Announces 2018 #DTJAX Award Winners

Downtown Vision, Downtown Jacksonville’s non-profit Business Improvement District announced today the winners of the third annual #DTJax Awards. Winners will be celebrated at the upcoming #DTJax Gala: Vintage Circus. The #DTJax Awards recognize community leaders who work to create a vibrant environment, who support economic revitalization efforts through the activation of underutilized resources, job creation, or leading design practices, and who continually reinforce Downtown as the premier center for arts, dining, retail, entertainment, business and/or urban living in Northeast Florida.

The #DTJax award winners for 2018 are: 

  • Downtown Ambassador of the Year – Willie Browner
  • Downtowners of the Year – Frank Denton and Mark Nusbaum
  • Downtown Project of the Year – Cowford Chophouse
  • Downtown Achievement Award – Preston Haskell

The community is invited to celebrate with the #DTJax Award winners as well during the third annual #DTJax Gala: Vintage Circus on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the former Aetna Building on Downtown Jacksonville’s Southbank. The #DTJax Gala is a celebration of Downtown and includes a dinner buffet, dessert by The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops, open bar featuring Manifest Distilling, Intuition Ale Works and Bold City Brewery, big top performers, a henna tattoo artist and carnival games, the Tin Can Photo Lounge, silent auction, complimentary valet and more.
