Member Spotlight: Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship 

 

The mission of the Jim Moran Institute is to cultivate, train and inspire entrepreneurial leaders through world-class executive education, applied training, public recognition and leading-edge research.

 

The staff of the Jim Moran Institute serves established entrepreneurs, business owners, and nonprofit executives through programs designed to help participants think differently, become better decision makers, and be more efficient.

 

With a full-service office located in Jacksonville, programs are geared toward CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners and presidents of organizations that have been established for at least three years with five or more employees. Services are provided for little to no cost. Programs provided by the Jim Moran Institute include:

 

Small Business Executive Program (SBEP)

Participants get assistance in developing long-term strategies, creating practical action plans and connecting with fellow business owners and members of the Jim Moran Institute’s network for guidance and support. The overall goal of this program is to help entrepreneurs work “ON” their business.

 

Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP)

In collaboration with other nonprofit resources, this program was designed to help nonprofit organizations work “ON” their organization with a focus on efficiencies. It is an experience that helps graduates emerge as strong leaders.

 

CEO Peer2Peer Groups
Provides a structured and confidential environment for CEOs and business owners to share best practices, resolve business challenges and help each other grow their business.

 

Expert speaker series
Shares the expertise of nationally recognized professionals and entrepreneurs through a speaker series. Speakers share information on growing successful businesses.

 

Support for other resource organizations and initiatives
The Jim Moran Institute occasionally provides support and resources for other organizations and initiatives that fit our mission.
