A message from Pat Blanchard, director, Jacksonville Women's Business CenterWelcome to the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center! Women entrepreneurs are the fastest growing segment of business owners today. Statistics show active and successful women entrepreneurs have a positive impact on the economy.
The Jacksonville Women's Business Center is a community initiative that seamlessly blends the necessary ingredients to build a strong economy. Access to critical business skills provide our clients with the tools necessary start or grow a business. Research and our own clients tell us repeatedly how important education, mentoring and business connections are to them and to the success of their businesses. We invite women entrepreneurs, or women dreaming of becoming business owners, to come to our center. Our programs are open to the public; at little or no cost. Scholarships and payment plans are available for fee programs. No one is ever turned away due to their inability to pay.
Last but not least, on behalf of the staff and the thousands of women JWBC has assisted since 2004, I’d like to recognize our generous sponsors and the 300 plus dedicated volunteers who support our programs. We could not do it without you!
