JAX Chamber

JAX Chamber Councils

Who We Are
The Chamber Councils have served the greater Jacksonville area for more than 50 years. Each Council provides unique programs and activities to promote and improve the business and civic climates of their geographic areas. In 2004, the Chamber added to this idea with the introduction of business resource councils. These Councils are special groups created to facilitate communication among Chamber members of similar interests, demographics or industry types.

Any employee of a company that is a member in good standing of the Chamber is eligible for membership in one or more Chamber Councils.

What We Do
Each Council works to increase member involvement through membership meetings and a variety of activities and special events that feature informative speakers and programs.

What We Offer
As a member of one of the Councils you have the opportunity to expand your network of fellow business people, stay on top of business events and issues in Jacksonville, increase leadership skills through participation, and positively impact your community through local service projects.

Choose A Council
Chamber members choose to join one or more Chamber Council because:
• It is located in the area of town where they do business
• It specializes in their kind of business
• It is located where they live
• It is located in an area where they would like to expand their business
• Meetings are held at times and locations convenient to their schedule

Whom To Contact
For more information about Chamber Councils, contact John Bryan at (904) 273-5366 or John.Bryan@myjaxchamber.com.

Council Boards
Council Board positions are open to all current members of the specific Council. Council member must be active participants in council activities and committees. Prospective board members must fill out a board application and be voted in by the current board. Contact: John Bryan at (904) 273-5366 or John.Bryan@myjaxchamber.com

For The Beaches
Where is the Beaches Council? There is none. That is because we offer a Beaches Division dedicated to the promotion and development of our coastal business community from Mayport to Ponte Vedra Beach. This division conducts its own monthly mixers and luncheons at the Beach. The Beaches Division provides a convenient location for Chamber members who work or live at the beach. For more information about the Beaches Division, contact Amanda Patch at (904) 273-5366 or beaches@myjaxchamber.com.
