JAXBIZ Committee
A nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization affiliated with JAX Chamber that promotes business-friendly leadership within local and state government. Please see JAXBIZ for dues requirements.

Political Leadership Institute
The Political Leadership Institute is a non-partisan educational program that encourages professionals to explore future public leadership and then equips them in advance with the knowledge to campaign for public office, understand critical issues and serve the public with excellence.

ImpactJAX is the young professionals program of the JAX Chamber. The Leadership Team is by invitation only.

Operations

Downtown’s New Front Door Fundraising Committee
Downtown’s New Front Door is a project to improve the first impression of Downtown as visitors arrive by the Main Street Bridge. The fundraising committee for Downtown’s New Front Door is comprised of individuals from a cross section of the membership who are passionate about the building project and downtown revitalization, and who are willing to make a leadership investment in the project as well as use their sphere of influence to raise the funds required to complete Downtown’s New Front Door project. The goal is to use the Chamber-owned property to serve as a catalyst project for downtown revitalization.

Facilities Committee
The Facilities Committee is comprised of professionals in the construction, development or property management industries to serve in an advisory role to Chamber staff in managing and maintaining Chamber-owned properties. Except in rare occasions, members of the Facilities Committee are not eligible to bid on projects for the property.

Military Issues Committee
Facilitates active liaison between the Northeast Florida business community and military commands headquartered in the region for the purpose of promoting the continued viability of existing military activities. This committee is open to Chamber members.

Diplomats
Diplomats represent the Chamber by exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism, knowledge and integrity to our members and the business community. Diplomats serve as the greeting arm of the Chamber to promote new member participation and retention. Click here to read the Diplomats Handbook.

Ribbon Cutting Committee

JAXUSA Partnership Advisory Council
Current JAXUSA Partnership Investors of $10,000 or more. Meets quarterly prior to JAXUSA Partnership Luncheon. Input and involvement in JAXUSA Partnership strategy and key community issues with other major investors.

JAXUSA Partnership Business Development Committee
The JAXUSA Partnership Business Development Committee monitors and provides input about ongoing business climate conditions affecting JAXUSA Partnership’s continuing ability to recruit new business to the area, while also providing individualized resources and assistance for the retention and expansion of existing business in Jacksonville. This committee is open to JAXUSA Partnership Investors.

JAXUSA Partnership CIO Council
The Jacksonville CIO Council is comprised of the senior level technology representative of any business, government, non-profit or educational institution with a substantial investment in information technology. Membership is by invitation only to top level IT executives of a chamber member company/CIO or equivalent.

Focuses on strategy for international business recruitment and foreign direct investment. The committee brings together many businesses and community organizations to create a forum for dialogue and action. Chamber membership and additional investment in JAXUSA Partnership is necessary.
