Held monthly in conjunction with the Small Business Center Orientation
About the Program
· Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and recent start-up business owners.
· An intensive one-hour program to help participants ascertain the next steps necessary to get their business up and running or grow an existing business.
· At the end of the hour, each participant leaves with a list of action items and resources to help her take the next step toward business ownership or growing her business.

LaunchPadSM
Held six to 10 times per year; locations vary
· Targeted at individuals who are on the brink of starting a business.
· A panel of three to four entrepreneurs from varied business categories, openly discuss the highs and lows of starting a business
o Starting from scratch
o Buying an existing business
o Buying a franchise
o Opening a business under a corporate umbrella.
· Participants have the opportunity to talk to business owners in each of these categories and ask them specific questions related to business ownership.
