The Workforce Summit concludes the two roundtable discussions into an exciting summit featuring provocative panel discussions that will shape how Northeast Florida reshapes regional workforce, education, and economics to a global level, and the following presentations:
- William Brock , US Senator, Ambassador and President Reagan’s Secretary of Labor
"Tough Choices or Tough Times": An update on The New Commission on the Skills of the American Workforce’s landmark publication.
- Irwin Kirsch, Director of the Center for Global Assessment of Educational Testing Service
"America’s Perfect Storm: Three Forces Changing our Nation’s Future"
- Thomas Frey, Executive Director of the Davinci Institute
"The Future of Education and its Impact on the Workforce"
Lunch will be served, with a reception following the Summit. There is a $25 registration fee.
