As part of the JAX Chamber’s new approach to help lead our region to greater economic prosperity, we created the Buy Chamber program to help grow members’ businesses. The six components, outlined below, are designed to provide engagement opportunities for businesses at all levels.
Buy Chamber Marketplace
JAX Chamber is now offering an online savings program that allows members to offer discounts to other members for their respective businesses and communicate with other members on www.myjaxchamber.com.
This program provides a forum to distribute company news and announcements, offer unlimited deals, and maintain communications with Chamber members.
Members can also take advantage of savings offered by other members on the site.

Matchmaking Events
Member business owners have the opportunity to deliver fast-pitch presentations promoting their products and services and meet in one-on-one sessions with other member company buyers at events throughout the year.
These strategically targeted sessions are interchangeably focused on industry, product or size of business and restricted to 25 sellers and 10 buyers in order to provide maximum impact for those involved.
Applications are required for a selection process to ensure targeted criteria are met.

Training & Education
Buy Chamber training programs are tailored to instruct member businesses on the best practices in selling to the public and private sector.
Mentoring is offered on designing a sales approach that will yield the most profitable returns from second-stage and corporate buyers.
Specific training is also offered on the unique process of government procurement.

Corporate Buying Program
Many corporate executives within Chamber leadership pledged to do business with other Chamber members when possible. Based on these respective companies’ purchasing processes, several case scenarios were developed to show how other corporations can easily implement a process to consider Chamber members first when buying a product or service. The Chamber is directly reaching out to purchasing agents at larger corporations to help implement a similar structure that promotes buying from other member businesses.
One element of each scenario is creating a culture change among employees to also think “Buy Chamber” in their personal purchasing.

Member B2B Announcements
The Chamber’s councils have a longstanding tradition of highlighting business transactions with other members at each of their monthly meetings.
This segment of the program is now branded as Buy Chamber, further strengthening our members’ support for each others’ businesses. The member-to-member announcements exemplify the grassroots culture of doing business with members first.

Executive Procurement Committee
This group will focus on implementing the culture change of “Buy Chamber” at the corporate executive level within the business community. An exclusive group of invited purchasing executives will strategize and explore issues and trends impacting procurement officers in our region.
This advisory group will provide feedback and suggestions to Chamber leadership on how best to engage large corporations and encourage them to buy from other Chamber members.

Buy Chamber Lunch Ladders
To better connect JAX Chamber members to one another, we now offer small group networking lunches with the Beaches Division and Chamber Councils. These small group lunches are informal in nature, are hosted at a member restaurant, and discussion is led by a volunteer Lunch Ladder Captain.
If you prefer a small group setting, these lunches are the perfect way to connect with others and ultimately grow your professional network and your business.
